Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter/margarine, softened at room temperature
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water
- 2 cups flour
- 2 1/2 cups of oats
- 100g bar of baking chocolate chopped
Directions:
Whip first 4 ingredients together until well mixed. Add baking powder, flour and oats.
Add chocolate and stir until batter is even. Place spoonful sized chunks
on parchment paper then bake in oven at 375F (190C) until tops of cookies begin to brown.
